Barberitos is a Southwestern Grille and Catana located in the Tate Student Center. Serving southwestern cuisine the way it should be, Barberitos is proud to use products such as grated cheese and sour cream made from real milk. We cook our southwestern rice, black beans, and pinto beans fresh every day. Also, our sauteed mushrooms, spinach and green peppers provide an excellent base for our delicious vegetarian selections.


All burritos are served with a side of chips and salsa. Choose from six varieties of delicious burrito combinations from our Mini to Heavy D to Vegetarian options, all burritos are rolled in a flour, spinach, wheat, or chipotle tortilla.  

Choose from grilled chicken, steak, ground beef, or tofu and black or pinto beans. All Tacos are served with side of chips and salsa.


Include three soft flour tortillas with chicken or steak, cheese, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and sautéed onions and peppers. All fajitas are served with a side of chips and salsa.


Filled with your choice of meat or tofu, black or pinto beans, and veggies, these quesadillas are an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. All quesadillas are served with a side of chips and salsa.


All salads are served in a crispy flour tortilla shell, except the Healthy Salad, and include lettuce, beans, and salsa.


A bed of chips topped, and topped, and topped with beans, cheese, salsa, olives, jalapenos, and your choice of chicken, steak, ground beef, or tofu.

Red Clay @ Tate offers delicious hot sandwiches, paninis, & classic salads.  Whether you’re dining in or on the go,  choices like our stacked Cuban Sandwich, Grilled Vegetable Panini, or our popular Chicken Finger Salad offer something for everyone at Red Clay @ Tate.

Hibachi & Teriyaki Platters

Served with Hotei’s fried rice and Hotei’s vegetable stir fry blend of fresh onions, zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, bamboo shoots, and water chestnuts. Order with Hibachi-grilled chicken, shrimp, rib-eye steak or your favorite combo of meats.


Fresh chopped lettuce, shredded red cabbage, and carrots accented with grape tomatoes and garnished with Hotei’s fried wonton strips. Includes your choice of Ranch or Hotei’s Ginger. Order with Hibachi-grilled chicken, shrimp, or rib-eye steak.
